| We were late and the captain, the only female captain, first said that we would not be able to leave the ship, then she decided that we could. Complete chaos ensued with pushing and shoving (we only had an hour) to get off. The tour crew members told us not to take the shuttle bus but to walk into town. Once we got off the ship, after standing in line aboard the ship for more than 90 minutes, the police refused to allow us to walk. So, we had to take the bus. The town was much too far for us to have walked. We raced through the town to the post office, then raced back to the bus stop. Some of the passengers began to call the Captain "Lady Gaga" - she must have been "gaga" to run the ship so irresponsibly. |
