IN THE PORT OF SINT MAARTEN

I hope I never get or even sound jaded - "been there, done that, got the t-shirt" - but I have been to

Sint Maarten/ St. Martin five times, have taken 4 tours and was content today to walk around the harbor.

There are SIX cruise ships here today, two of which have more than 5,000 passengers.

MIDGARD TUG - just like Bremerhaven

SOME OF THE ACTIVITIES ABOARD ON A PORT DAY - MANY MORE ACTIVITIES WHEN WE ARE AT SEA

UNFORTUNATELY, THE BEST PHOTO I COULD GET DURING HEAVY WEATHER

The flag of Mauritania - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_Mauritania

THE LINES FOR THE WATER TAXIS HAD AT LEAST40 PEOPLE IN EACH -

it was too hot to wait.  Three days before we had been in New York with winter

temperatures and it was too great an adjustment for me, and several others.

TWO OF THE OTHER FLOATING SMALL TOWNS IN PORT

THIS IS LIKE A MONSTER VERSION OF  A HOUSE PLANT I USED TO HAVE
