God bless the ROYAL NAVY.  The helicopter is coming back from reconnaissance
and landing aboard the destroyer.

They protected our passage through pirate waters.

Fireworks???

New tradition for New Year's Eve - repeat Thanksgiving

There was a turkey in the freezer with a due date before my return so, I invited neighbors and friends and we had turkey, dressing, sweet potatoes (candied), green beans, corn, cranberries and the most marvelous Swedish appetizer (cheese and pear jelly on toast rounds) prepared by a neighbor and dessert - prepared by another neighbor - with ice cream, meringue, raspberries (fresh!), and chocolate sauce. We "rolled" outside to watch the fireworks which welcomed 2019 with lots of noise and light.

Sorry, still no video.  Any suggestions?

I took several videos (check the grammar on that) but the camera and the computer can only agree on photography, not videos.  So, here is a photo from 2016 - not much has changed in the way of fireworks and I will keep trying to get the 2 sides to communicate.  Then I will feel qualified to mediate in other conflicts.
