Nha Trang, Vietnam - April 1, 2016

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nha_Trang

We arrived early at Nha Trang but waited and waited for the Captain to announce that we could board the tenders.  Finally, after about an hour, we were told that the authorities in Nha Trang had still not given permission for us to disembark.

Of course, we all suspected that they were holding out for a bribe or a bigger bribe and perhaps they were but the official reason, and probably in addition to the "costs" , was that the ship had many cases of norovirus.  That was certainly true.

After about a 2 hour delay, we were able to board the tenders.  By that time, the temperature on the quay was already over 38° C  / 100° F so we did not stay long.  P was still not well and the heat and humidity were more than either of us could handle.

So, a quick tour of the stall along the quay and then back to the ship.  No aquarium this time.

Waiting for permission

Impossible to tell from the ship what this was - it is the aquarium, and this is as close as we got.
