MOOREA - February 20, 2014

First sight of Moorea
just 20 minutes across from Tahiti

Moorea's pace of life is much slower than Tahiti's.

Put in cages and fed coconut meat for a month.  Then they are delicious said our guide.

Breadfruit - Captain Bligh went to Tahiti to get breadfruit to take to the Caribbean as cheap food for the slaves on the plantations there.  His crew mutinied, set him adrift, he survived, came  back and got breadfruit but the slaves would not eat it.

January 13th and 14th, 2014

We came this close to Cuba - thanks to their system I was able to use my cell phone.
